Brandable

Terms of service

Last updated: November 5, 2026

These terms govern the use of Brandable: the Moodle plugin, the app.brandablelms.com platform and this website. They form a contract between your organization and Digisphere Lab LLC. By creating an account or installing the plugin, you accept them on behalf of your organization.

1. The service

Brandable changes the look of a Moodle platform from requests written in plain words. Changes are prepared in a private preview, then published by an administrator of your Moodle. They can also be exported as a standalone Moodle theme.

Brandable is intended for professionals: institutions, companies, agencies and freelancers using it for their business.

We keep improving the service. We may add, change or remove features; an essential feature of a paid plan is not removed during a billing period without an equivalent alternative or a prorated refund.

2. Account and organization

You provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You protect your credentials and tell us promptly about any unauthorized access.

An account belongs to an organization, which can include several members and several Moodle sites. The organization owner manages members, connected sites and billing.

Each Moodle site connects with its own key, which you can revoke at any time from your dashboard.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Check every change in the preview before publishing it. Publishing remains your decision.
  • Review any JavaScript code before enabling and publishing it. JavaScript is off by default; an administrator enables it under their own responsibility.
  • Hold the rights to the logos, images, fonts and text you provide.
  • Keep your own backups of your Moodle platform.
  • Use Brandable lawfully, without trying to bypass credit metering, plan limits or the service’s protections, or to overload it.

We recommend working on a test environment first.

4. Content and ownership

Your requests, your files and the content of your Moodle remain yours. You allow us to process them only as needed to provide the service.

Designs generated for you (styles, templates, modules) are yours: we assign to you, at no extra cost, any rights we may hold in that output, for any use on your platforms.

The Brandable software (platform, plugin, runtime library) remains our property. The plugin is licensed to you for as long as you use the service.

An exported theme includes a licence tied to your subscription. It stays valid for 30 days after the end of the paid period. After that, only site administrators see a notice: what your users see never changes.

Suggestions produced by artificial intelligence may contain errors. They are offered for your approval and never published automatically.

5. Plans and credits

Plans, prices and features are described on the Pricing page. The free plan does not allow publishing to production.

  • Each plan includes credits added every month. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of the period.
  • Credits bought in packs are valid for 12 months from purchase. They are used after monthly credits.
  • A request is charged at its actual cost, in whole credits; a request that fails is not charged. You need at least 5 available credits to start a request.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and are only refundable as described in section 7.

6. Prices, payment and taxes

Paid plans and credit packs are sold through Stripe Managed Payments. The merchant of record is Link, LLC, a Stripe company: it collects the payment, calculates, collects and remits taxes, and issues invoices and receipts. Link’s terms apply to the payment transaction; these terms apply to the use of the service.

  • Prices exclude tax. Taxes that apply in your country (VAT, sales tax, GST) are calculated and added at checkout.
  • Your billing currency depends on your organization’s country: euros in Europe, US dollars elsewhere, for the same amounts. Country and currency are set at your first payment.
  • Purchases are available in countries where Stripe Managed Payments handles taxes. For another country, or for a public body, contact us.
  • Subscriptions are monthly or annual and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • If a payment fails, your plan is kept without new credits until it is paid; otherwise it ends and your organization moves back to the free plan.

7. Plan changes, cancellation and refunds

  • An upgrade applies immediately, with the extra credits for the current month. A downgrade applies from the next period.
  • You can cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; your organization then moves back to the free plan.
  • Your published design stays in place in your Moodle after cancellation.
  • To request a refund, email us at contact@brandablelms.com. Refunds are processed by Stripe and Link, which may also grant them directly within 60 days of a purchase. A refunded pack removes the matching credits not yet used; a fully refunded subscription ends and your organization moves back to the free plan. Credits already used are not taken back.

8. Suspension

We may suspend an organization’s access or revoke a site key in case of a serious breach of these terms, non-payment, or a risk to the security of the service or other customers. Except in an emergency, we warn you first. Suspension does not affect the design already published in your Moodle.

9. Availability and support

We make our best efforts to keep the service available and working properly, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or in case of an incident. Brandable being unavailable does not affect how your Moodle displays.

Support is provided by email at contact@brandablelms.com.

10. Liability

The service is provided as is. You remain responsible for what you publish on your platform and for your Moodle configuration.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for the service is limited to the amounts your organization paid for Brandable in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as loss of data, revenue or reputation.

These limits do not apply in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or where the law prohibits them.

11. Personal data

Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy. For any personal data contained in the pages you send us, Digisphere Lab LLC acts as a processor on your behalf. A data processing agreement (DPA) is available on request at contact@brandablelms.com.

Our subprocessors are listed on the Subprocessors page.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For any material change, we notify each organization owner by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you can cancel before that date.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico (USA), without prejudice to mandatory provisions of the country where your organization is established. Before taking any action, we look for an amicable solution: email us at contact@brandablelms.com.
